My journey at Amal has been great, beautiful and enjoyable. I have never enjoyed a learning process this much before. It was the best decision of my life. I’ve learned a ton of professional skills along with a lot of life lessons. Being able to interact and communicate with different fellows from different regions, universities and backgrounds, and learn from them was a great and amazing experience. It was like a family outside the home. But sadly, as everything in this world ends, this fellowship also ended making all of us sad and emotional. Three months passed in a blink of an eye.

The only happiness or we can say escape from the hectic week routine, were the weekend sessions. All sessions are most memorable, but the last one was special. As the fellowship was going to end, so the last session was emotional and most memorable.

This session was amazing and full of fun. We had discussions about various thoughtful and entertaining questions including what supernatural powers we want to have, how much do we understand ourselves and how we try to understand ourselves. Some fellows also shared great lessons they learned in life. I got to learn some really great life lessons through this activity about hard work, trying to control the things in life and taking responsibility for your life.

We also had a fun activity in which we had to collect selfies with the objects after solving some riddles. It was a very enjoyable activity and thanks to it, we were able to make good memories of our last session. Fellows also gave great views and appreciation notes to one another. It was also a memorable and lovely activity.

This fellowship taught me a lot. The best lesson is how can I continue to improve personally and professionally by having a growth mindset and being a lifelong learner. This would help me to become a better version of myself. A lot of other lessons including how to write a superhero resume and cover letter, importance of research, interview skills, importance of networking, Pomodoro technique, how to be a leader in everyday life, teamwork and problem solving, will surely help me to excel at professionalism.

The session concluded with a graduation picture and celebration. I had mixed feelings about it. The joy and happiness of graduating such an amazing fellowship and sorrow of losing contact with great fellows. I planned to remain connected with my fellows through Facebook and WhatsApp groups.

Thank you so much to all my fellows and Ma’am Hira and Sir Rizwan for making this journey great, beautiful and memorable for me. I’ll never forget the time spent here. This fellowship will always be one of my greatest memories.
